I’m torn, its £4ish posted for a half link, or its £12ish for a whole chain (and a stack of spare half-links!). Thoughts?

i’d have to say use a tensioner. 1/2 link chains tend to be heavy, and in any case, a bit of use and you’ll be adjusting the chain anyway.

Del, a lot of people use a half link and a tensioner to get the tension correct.

I have a tensioner, I just want a little bit less slack, im about 1mm off being able to remove another whole link. Kinda – I cant get to walsall, but do you have a link? <off googling>…

I bought a half link only on the basis that I can take it out and re-use it… just make sure you dont pop the pin out when your splitting the chain.

Thanks Kinda – I’ll call them and see if they’ll post some to me. Seems everywhere I’d normally use doesnt do 3/32 half links or if they do they’re £3 plus postage.
