This may sound dumb but I can’t fit either of my 10mm sockets into the end so I can undo the nylock nut from the axle.
I’ve tried a 9mm and 8mm sicker but they are too small for the bullock but.
    Any pointers?????

I just wedged something in there, they weren’t done up tight

Nice one Joe, I wedged a chunky flathead screwdriver in there.
Still think it’s a bit weird that you can’t get a socket in there!

You need a thin walled socket, I used one out of a drill bit set. The smalller ones were also perfect for removing the bushes.

I’ve just done the very same with my Blackspire pedals but the first socket I found fit like a dream. Regreased and ready to ride.

Have you removed the spacer tube?

Is an Alloy spacer tube that stops the end cap from winding in too far.
This can be removed and allows a standard socket to be used

Yeah i removed the spacer tube but both the Stanley and Bahco 10mm sockets i tried wouldnt fit in the hole.
As bacondoublechee mentioned above i guess i need a thin walled socket whereever you get them from! Or use a flat blade screwdriver like i did.
    All sorted now!
