Carpet could do with a new carpet let alone clean… Had to dismantle a fairy muddy hardtail to get the bits I needed hence the chunks of fern and mud. I am moving house though and it’s a rented flat. 😉
Building a bike up and a white carpet….brave man indeed! But the bike looks very nice. If I had the money lying around I would build one up myself, too.

Were the bars a loaner too? If not, was grey the intended colour?
I had the bars and pedals already from my last bike (not the donor that just has poorly forks) was not intended but wasn’t shelling out any more money and I think it loos alright. crank arms pedals and bars are all silver so I thought I might get away with it.

I could get a black one right now, but really want an orange frame, which aint available til late april/early may. Vain? Me?.
I wanted stealth-ish even ordered Ltd black forks instead of stock white for the effect, black pedals cranks and bars would be sooo good. Just have no money for building bikes right now, it should be how I want it By April though.

hehe, I hassled Cotic and waited for the Solaris to appear in green (when they weren’t even sure that they were doing green…).
Lovely looking bike. If it rides as good as it looks, it should be a scream.
Also enjoying the ‘roy on the sofa. Oh, and if the carpets dirty but the floor underneath is clean and in good nick, the carpet is doing its job.

160mm forks and how many spacers?
5x5mm ones until I get it perfect… really didn’t want to cut the steerer too short on these forks could be costly… saying that though, feels nice like that.
Took it for a spin round Cannock this morning… Chuffed to bits. Could do with a few shock/fork setup changes, but the shock was performing great, sag on both now needs setting up again as the seals have bedded in slightly everything went very plush about an hour in. Few PSI should sort that. Cannock is also riding really nicely… What a lovely day.
Either there was two rockets up there today so I saw you on tackeroo decent. You passed me waiting for a mate then I spotted the bike upside down at the trailside, I was on a black and white stumpy elite. Top marks on the build it was the nicest bike around too.
