I’ve just looked at the Howies website. No particular voice/style/character/personality comes through to me.

It just looks like every other brand/company/website. With clothes.

Well considering it’s mostly boring, monotonous denim, check shirts and dicey slogan t-shirts for 30somethings, the next step down the slope towards OAP style-ville is officially Fat Face…. boring, monotonous denim, check shirts but with added wooly knits and dreadful baggy sweatshirts to accommodate the broader 30 to 40something demographic.

Have a look at finIsterre, they do some good jackets (in my opinion) and hiut denim for jeans. I also don’t think you can go far wrong with carhartt.

But seriously, Morvelo’s T shirts are nicer quality and cut than Howies – and their designs are less cheesy.

I got a free Morvelo T shirt (or it was part of some sort of deal). Size small, still too baggy.

Fruit of the Loom T shirtsoff ebay are decent.

If you want a brand that whines on about ethics and morals and whatnot, THTC are pretty good, and I dont think they’re wonr by middle aged biffers.
