Is there currently any better deals than the BR-M6000 at merlin for £85?

    Thanks

Not that I could find. I bought the same set. Only had one ride on them so far but very happy with them. Mine arrived Euro set up but you’ll be shortening hoses anyway so it’s no extra faff to swap the levers. However, they didn’t come with spare olives and barbs.

Wait until the new year’s sales and you might be able to pick slx or xt up around the £100 Mark.

Them Clarks ones are less than half that, including disks, adapters and spares for the shortening.

Edit-sorry, not half £85, half your budget.

As a sturdy sized rider the move from Deore 2-piston to Deore 4-piston has been well worthwhile. Noticeably more grunt and I’ve stopped glazing pads.

Mine were £98 from ze Germans, full aftermarket brakes in retail packaging.

Yeah, as above. The Clarks M2s are a great budget option, about £50 for both ends with all the bits.
Stopping wise they’re as good as the Deores IMHO.
