TBH, I’m happier to see my member fees going towards support for new riders and grassroots,mass-appeal events, than getting flung at 2-wheeled greyhound racing that practically nobody actually does.
Maybe join the CTC then? At least your money is more likely to go to support “new riders and grassroots mass-appeal cycling events” instead of competitive cycling. They are the fluro-nodder hybrid riding association of choice.
Nah, BC do a lot of good stuff (and I needed the race licence anyway!). CTC are about the last organisation I’d give money to tbh. But it’s not all about racing, and cutting one to power the other’s not a good “legacy”
