    I need to put up 3 metres of shelving for home office storage. Is Ikea the obvious solution???

    I bought some brackets from screwfix and mahogany faced, ex-library shelves from the local wood recycling centre.

    Thanks for the replies….. Have a feeling my local recycling centre will not be sufficiently well organised to have shelves kept carefully, but you never know.

    OK TSY, perhaps I should have asked for alternatives!!!

    Depends how far IKEA is. Argos stuff will do just as well, as would B&Q. Staples too, but overpriced. You're really just going for a lunch of meatballs and berries, aren't you?
