Hi all. Wanting to convert a rear Mavic XL to boost. I want to leave the cassette where it should be rather than space both sides (a la Hope adaptors) realise I’ll have to make a 6mm spacer for the axle disc size as there’s nothing off the shelf.
I’ve used wolftooth HR boost kit on Hope and DT and they work great.
In this case I just need the 6mm disc rotor spacer and longer bolts. Anyone found a source please?
    Thanks

I’m not familiar with Mavic wheels but is there enough thread length left to redish the rim with the spokes already in there?

    Hi
I’ve redished a couple of rear wheels. It’s about half a nipple turn so, unless the spokes are super short, any wheels should adapt fine.
Plus you actually get a more symmetrical dish as the drive side spokes are slightly more angled after adaptation to boost.
