Looks like I need a new chainring for my build as my current 11spd sram XO spider/chainring clashes heavily with the chain stay. Its a non boost crankset.

Are there any companies that make a boost chainring to fit onto the spider? Or am I looking at direct mount 3mm offset? Or 6mm offset?

I ended up removing the spider and fitting direct mount onto my X0s, on the S Works Enduro that I sold that had a BB30 X0 it needed a zero offset to clear the chain stay.

I can’t see why you wouldn’t just go SRAM Direct Mount with the Boost (3mm?) offset – the steel rings have only a marginal weight penalty over ally, last forever, and are £15.

So if it’s SRAM direct mount all you need is a Boost offset chainring. Any boost chainring designed for SRAM direct mount should work fine.

For SRAM cranks, they only changed the spider (or chainring for direct mount) in the move to Boost.

OK great, I was thinking the direct mount would be a better idea tbh. Thanks.
