The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

I don’t read many books tbh. But the above had me hooked from the first to last page. Very funny in places with a few shocks thrown in too.

Got some tom sharpe. The girlfriend has banned me from reading it in bed as I keep her awake with laughing. 😆
Sweepy that one looks good, is it worth starting with the first one?

Bluebear is good, but not everyone gets it. Rumo is a better one to start with IMO, its a better story, and when you get into his humour you will enjoy Bluebear more.

    Try a little Jasper Fforde.

Oddball, witty, clever, funny and more.

I suggest starting with The Eyre Affair, then working through the Thursdays. The Nursery Crime books are excellent, especially “The Big Over Easy”, a really well written crime thriller.

Am now re-reading “Shades of Grey” – Clever stuff. A skewed look at what society could be, after the “Something that happened”

Didn’t like curious incident one bit myself.

How about Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency?
