This looks loads of fun, but brakes aren’t mentioned…

I wanted this bike to be street legal too, so keeping the original CT90 vin# was very important.

Indeed, doesn’t street legal mean it should have brakes?

Ever take it off any sweet jumps?

And I’m guessing those tyres won’t be approved either?

[edit] read a bit of it and they’re the original honda wheels.

It’s got a drum brake on the back

That it does but is it connected to anything? The brake lever seems to be connected to the engine… my engine knowledge is really poor so maybe that’s correct.

The lever on the bars is the clutch.  So probably only a back brake from the foot pedal.  Still looks awesome fun for wazzing around town.

    On eBay at the moment…

It’s in the US where you can get pretty much any vechile road legal.
it also uses a rear drum brake. That’s probably enough stopping power for it’s intended purpose.
Would love something like that for a summer evening cruise to the pub.

Half a dozen of those, a few mates, and a small sandy oval – what more could you ask out of life? 🙂
