    countersunk blackspire mounting bolts
    73mm shell

chainring bolts foul the stinger mounting bolts – have i done something wrong or is this a dodgy combo?

    Did you use the washers?

no as this would push the stinger further into the chainring

Are you talking about the granny ring bolts?

I had a similar setup that did that.

I just fitted lower profile bolts.

I had the same problem with my Covert. Probably about 5mm out.
I thought the ISCG mounts were off but Transition reckon they’re correct – flush with the edge of the BB on a 73mm shell.

Went for a Bionicon c.guide v2 in the end. Works really well.

Just use a 1mm B/B to shift everything across a bit, saves dicking about filing stuff.

I have a Blackspire ISCG mount on my 2011 Covert with an SLX triple chainset converted to a double – no problems with mine.
