Had a sort out of some bit and bobs and managed to find my old biopace chainrings from the early / mid 90’s !!

Still pretty good condition but wondered what they’re worth , 48t and 38t .

Might even have the 28t somewhere.

Dont think theyre worth much mate. I see them in bikestation all the time for next to nowt. What was the final word with them – they didnt really take off did they?

Was talking about these the other day, Q rings by rotor do something similiar aparantly, the old bio pace was known for stretching the chain, never noticed myself, mind you I never noticed the benefit either. The principal seems a good one.

I’ll take ’em off your hands if the price is right, just refurbing a mates old Kona FOC as he did me a great favour a while back.

I love mine, still use them for CX riding. Tried them fixed once too. NICE

Peel off the “Biopace” stickers and stick on some “Rotor Q-Ring” ones.

Advertise on Weight Weenies and you’ll get £200 easy…. 😉

Except Rotor rings are the ‘right’ way round, Biopace accentuated the dead spot.

I heard rumour from an industry insider that shimano was working on bio pace again.

I’ve got a brand new 52 Biopace ring just waiting for the right bike.
