    Should have asked the people involved, but does anyone know what was being watched across haweswater by men with binoculars this afternoon?

    The golden eagles used to nest up on Riggindale but I thought that they had not been seen for a few years.

    Eagles went years ago.
    There was a foxhunt over there today. Hope they got the bugger.

    Yeah. Black Brant goose. Or the Pacific Brent goose.
    It’s been seen around that area in the last few days.
