    Bike Tree
those kerazy Japanese have been at it again. looks like a very good idea, if a little expensive to use, and rather complicated.
tickled me how they were all carefully walking their bikes down to it though…

not quite sure its an invention, dont they have that for cars at on of the VW factorys in germany?

    cool though 🙂

worth the extra cost and space and resorces over this?

    (amsterdam)

each bike seems to take up a fair amount of space?

Right at the end, is that a little bike escalator next to the stairs?!

Not sure this would work here – can you imagine the outrage when the first scratches appear on a commuter's rigid, carbon forks? Even the 'rat-bikes' on here cost more than my car 😀

That will teach them 😈 commuting with an exotica carbon is like driving a clarkson car in london. You have to be a sub-normal to do it

I can see a few problems with that particular bike storage machine

The guide rails don't look anywhere near wide enough for Surly Enomorph's or even a 3" Maxxis
The gap in the central bike carrier doesn't look wide enough for 800mm handlebars
What if the chip falls off the bike?

Oh wait, its for commuter bikes, only one of those should be a problem ..
