Today was the big day. New frame, fork and crankset had all arrived, so it was just a matter of stripping the old frame and building up the new one.

    Hahaha

    – New crank needs 10mm allen key I don’t have, dash to shop.

    – New frame is longer, so gear cable is too short, ordered.

    – brake mount is different, ordered

    – crank spindle is 30mm, new BB ordered

In my head, I was out riding tonight 🙁

If the gear cable is too short maybe the rear brake hose is too?

I know. Hanging my head in shame.

The rear brake cable was pretty generous, and I think it should just about be OK.

Be thankful you have all the parts to even be at the building stage.
