    Morning all,

Off on a work trip for 10 days with a free weekend in the middle, does anyone have a bike box I can borrow/rent for the time? (Early February)

Carbon XL cube so bit nervous about bike bags

I am in Salisbury so down south would be ideal?

    Thanks

Tried your LBS? Mine are always happy to get shot of them.

Halfords is a good option- the boxes Apollos come in are strong like ox, they have to be to contain 50lbs of pig iron. Pretty big, too.

Halfords in Salisbury have always been very helpful for me in the past and Stonhenge Cycles are very firendly but presumably have a smaller turnover of bikes than Halfords so you might have to wait a day or two

Some bike shops can loan out hard case bike boxes for travel (my LBS loans them for £30 a week I think). It might be worth a few calls to some LBS’s in your area if you are stuck and they might have something you can borrow for better value than some of the other options.

You can rent them usually. I went with a cheapo bag off wiggle, lined with an apollo box.
