Long story- short I’ve been offer a DT swiss rear hub a as replacement for a failed XT, with me paying an additional £144.
    So
-the hub is not manufactured in the EU
    – over £135
    – import duty
    – handling fee
    – then vat
    Have I missed anything ?
Roughly what’s it likely to cost?
    Cheers Paul

From what my mates have experienced, add about 30% to cover all the post Brexit bullshit.

Find a friend in Germany who is happy to receive your order and then ask them to post it on.

I do this for Audi spares using a DHL standard format post matrix and it will be about €12 for a hub sized parcel with “bicycle spares” written on the customs declaration.

Tracked takes about 4 days, untracked 10 – 12 days

I’ve not had anything stopped yet and have sent a lot of stuff over.
