Daughter has just received her new Islabikes Beinn 26 (were mountain bike wheels really that small?!?). The tyres are fairly skinny, has anyone fitted bigger tyres and if so what? Cheers, Trevor.

Why bother unless they are not suitable for where she rides.

?race king 2.1s on my lads, courtesy of scotroutes off here. Need to ease the outer blocks past the brakes a little carefully, but good clearance once in place.

I fitted some wtb”s to my lads 20″ beinn. Transformed it for him. Gave him more cushioning on the green lane / rough fire road type trails we ride on. Consequently he enjoys the off road rides now . They were 7 quid each from crc.

2.0 high rollers fit fine.
Only difficulty is getting them passed the brake blocks.
