not a sweet thing but I was making homemade crumpets on the assumption that our star and heart shaped cookie cutters would make good crumpet rings. They didn’t, the just stuck like buggerty. So with a load of batter mixed up and no crumpet rings I just made one great big enormo-crumpet instead. Managed to spread a lot of marmite on that monster.
