Living where i do, most of my riding is on gravel as we don’t have many good MTB trails, but loads of bridleways, and i have become a big fan of riding with bib shorts with pockets and a looser fit merino t-shirt.
I have always loved Morvelo Overalands shorts with pockets in the back, as they actually held quite a bit, but the company (Overland side) is no longer operating and my shorts are getting a but threadbare and scaring grannies..
My trouble is i am not traditional cyclist shape, having spent most of life as a rugby prop-forward, so i tried Rapha size chart, according to them I am a large waist, size small leg length and XXL thighs!
So any recommendations for cargo pocketed bib shorts that aren’t long in leg?
(Rapha were too long, as were Endura Reiver shorts, Sportful Supergiara are comfy but pockets seem to have been an afterthought as cannot even hold a phone well)
