Not been abroad (on a beach type holiday) for 16 odd years when a week in Greece could be had for next to nothing – my haven’t prices risen somewhat!

So where can I get..

• A decent beach.
• A decent pool.
• Good places to eat (but not rowdy nightlife)
• Interesting places to visit – as we aren’t the type to lay in the sun all day.
• And a 4hour ish flight max.

Which parts of the Balearic Islands are quiet?

…for less than 2k for 3 of us (2 adults, x1 15yr old). And ideally around 1.5k.

I was looking the other night and Turkey and Bulgaria seen to be very good value currently.

We’ve been to Turkey loads and had some great holidays, but currently seen as a bit of a terrorist risk. I think the risk is so small as to be virtually non-existent.

Not been to Bulgaria, but looks very nice.

We’ve also had good deals for Tenerife & Lanzarote. It all depends on the time of year.

All at the top end of your flight time stipulation though.

We went to Kefalonia last year. It was early May, so first week of the season, and our flights were £50 return! Awesome place.
