    Tonight’s discussion is about 2nd hand shops – good shops that consistently have good stock or what’s the best find / purchase you’ve made in a charity shop.

    I guess there are some good ones in London, but Keswick has a pretty good Oxfam shop. Apart from the sports goods (crampons, skis, rucksacks and clothing) they also had a fine selection of tea sets, clothes for all ranges, music and books. Also a vintage boxed space Lego set from the 80s.

    So lets hear it for all the hidden gems of 2nd hand retailing or stories of good finds.

    I bagged a set of speakers for the PC for £5 a few years ago. A quick Google when I got home said they were £80. Bloody load as well.
