I went to the launch not much mtb stuff but lots of nice road frames and a fair few built retro with inch quill stuff .I still hanker after Royce hubs and chainset ,I may need to sell a child to buy one though !

    In two minds about going…

Either another day in the saddle or another day in the car seat..

    Hmmmm.

Lots & lots of bike porn, mostly road stuff & London urban designs, but worth it for me. But that’s 15 mins on the bike. I wouldn’t come from Yorkshire!

Mr Shep has a very good reason to be travelling down from Yorkshire.

Paid for a bike that’s there so desperate to see it. I also want a Paul Component T-Shirt

    Going in the morning.

Missed last years, but the first one was fab, also more roadie/urban than MTB, but i enjoyed geeking out at some of the very very nice bikes on display.

    ……dreams of building my own bike….perhaps…one day… 🙂

I thought it was ace. Lots of lovely stuff – the Ash framed road bikes were beautiful and some of the retro stuff was interesting, like the case of Campag on the BLB stand. Beer was nice too…

    My earlier comment was curmudgeonly.
I did really enjoy the show. There were several bike that I lusted after, & the attention to detail is wonderful.
Have a look at the Loop Wheels stand – that’s really fascinating. They’re suspension wheels, using carbon springs instead of spokes. Very neat! Only 20″ for the moment, but I’d love to try them
STW ought to do an article on them.

Woodelo prob do the ash bikes, an mtb is apparently in the pipeline if their fb pics are to believed..
Not sure if it could cope with a suspension fork though!

Great evening last night. Loved the balance bikes by the Bicycle Academy (new 2 day course to build your own). Gutted that my 2 are too old for one.

Thanks cliff and Paul, very generous swag, from cool engineering chaps.

Royce engineering shot glass or maybe candle stick holder…. I will check its watertight and decide.

15mm wrench and bottle opener from Paul…. Purple anodising flashback.
