Even the most liberal of STW members will accept that 80% of benefits are, on the whole a waste of public money.
The mindset of "It's OK my actions don't matter as the state will pay for all my mistakes" needs to be removed from the thought process of the general public.

Poorly administered in many cases and open to abuse, but actually I’m glad I live in a society where those who fall on hard times are helped, not some sort of Nietzschen state full of selfish arses…
Benefits are generally put in place to Benefit those with a genuine requirement they can't meet on their own, many of those who make use of them are or have been working tax paying members of society who have earned the right to financial and material assistance from the state when things don't go their way, health, old age, bereavement, divorce, unemployment – circumstances often beyond the control of the individual…
What Thatcher’s children and the Red tops fail to report are those that do deserve access to benefits, those that are able to continue working and paying taxes thanks to benefits no apparently only a scrounger would ever consider drawing benefits… One side of the story politics as usual…
