My daughter has an allergy to bee stings and the treatment she has been having to reduce if not erradicate it is not working.
We have emergency kit for when she's with respective parents and she's fine, the problem is really going to amplify when there are short periods of time when she's alone in the house and bee or wasp gets in.
    Major freak out scenes!
We've tried to calm her down by telling her there will be a wasp killing spray in each room but that in itself requires her to go near the creature to kill it – not a happy option.
Does anybody know of a very good trap or something that just quietly gets on with the job?
Many thanks in advance of a warm but sting free summer.

Thanks very much for the suggestion. I found these on the site that you linked; http://www.trapawasp.co.uk/indoor_electronic_wasp_and_flying_insect_killer.htm
I think a couple of these will do the trick nicely.
    Thanks again, much appreciated

I developed a bad reaction to wasp stings and the gp gave me a slow release anti histamine to take daily during the late summer when there is most risk aswell as a epi pen

I am allergic to bee stings and have too have an injection of Adrenalin if stung. Touch wood its been sometime since I was last stung and it seems the older I have got the better I have been able to cope with a sting.

She's 12 and probably just as afraid of the injection as the bee sting. There is no way on this planet she's going to stick a needle in herself. Her mother is an Oncology Nurse Specialist and Nurse Band 7 (used to be called senior sisters or matrons in some hopsitals) and even she's not allowed near with a syringe.
