want to look at some gorgeous hardtails, exemplar frames being Cotic Souls, Kinesis Maxlights, ragleys, anything which isn’t a racer, isn’t a hardcore hardtail, and isn’t ridiculously outrageous (such as carbon gimmicks).

Not everyone’s idea of beautiful (and might just slip into your unwanted hardcore category), but I still think my machine has a certain industrial elegance.

Here’s mine. I don’t think I’ve really decided if it’s beautiful or not. Some days I think it looks great and others I can’t help getting the feeling that it’s a bit odd. It’s certainly not ridiculously outrageous though and it’s certainly dependable.

Now with a 50mm stem, though I haven’t ridden it yet, so dunno if how it’s going to feel..

My first proper MTB (since a Diamond Back Ascent in the early 90’s) delivered yesterday, so very much beautiful (to me at least).

Green pedals will be added later this week.

My Bonty is a beautiful frame imho although its current ‘winter’ build doesn’t enhance that in any way.

The Klein is currently suffering the indignity of being turned into a singlespeed but will still be gorgeous…
