    A **** disgrace 🙁

Watching and am in no way surprised by him.

The Grampian police should hang their heads in shame, I am discussed with their handling of it. Really making me angry watching this. Trumph is such a dick.

Damn, wanted to see it, mainly as he sounded so annoyed about it…

The local media were an utter disgrace all the way through too. Every story was about how fantastic Trump and his plans were and how those directly affected were scum.

Complaints to police and Aberdeen journals about their lack of impartiality were met with silence. A shameful lack of backbone from local and national Scottish politicians…sadly not a surprise.

Trumph didnt even know if the course was on the east or west coast, Letterman made him look like a tube.

Shocked by police totally in his pocket. Total scum bag. Very one sided though.

Steve, not just Grampian police, everyone involved in granting planning permission should be ashamed.

An area like that should have been preserved regardless. It’s not like there aren’t enough golf courses along the coast!

Agreed, the Scottish government are a joke. They fell for his BS about jobs and increased revenue, such a political bit of showboating by Salmond, that and the forth bridge joke really turn me off him and the snp. Luckily I can vote for independence then vote the snp out of office, which is what I will do and I think it’s what will happen if we get it. A bit like having Churchill during the war then getting shot of him straight after.

How can he just steamroller (quite literally) over due legal process and, indeed, the law.

Oh aye – by handing out massive back handers no doubt. I can see absolutely no reason otherwise that he would be allowed to flagrantly ignore the law.

Both he and his son are truly odious individuals. That Irish guy who was running the show was as bad. A bunch of bullies with money used to getting their own way by fair means or foul.

I hope everyone involved is oneday held to account, or suffers a massive financial loss that bankrupts the lot of them. Couldn’t come too soon.

i reckon that donald trump is just the host for that alien hairpiece (the real intelligence).he used to be but a lowly sewage worker somewhere in the deep south.alas one night he was invaded by said alien hairpiece, which proceeded to send him up the business ladder/and assassinate his rivals whilst the host (trump) was asleep.he/it quickly rose to power.unfortunately today is the result of that 🙁 DAMN YOU ALIEN SCUM!! 😡

Still walk my dog across his course, when we go to balmedie. Was asked to leave as I was trespassing told the security guard to jog on. Nice course tho.

I already knew quite a bit about this, but didn’t realise quite how bad it was. No respect or consideration of the locals or the landscape. Unfortunately that is Trump’s modus operandi, he’s done it all over the world, trampling over residents and the environment, or persuading local authorities to put loads of money into infrastructure for his resorts, only to cancel the project if every single aspect doesn’t go his way.

This is quite interesting, Trump has a lot of previous on this kind of thing:

    http://www.trippinguptrump.com/trump-developments

Site comes with an obvious bias, but there are all links to news articles for all those developments. The Ranchos Palos Verdes one is especially shocking.

All the council officials, planning officers and Police who have let this happen and supported it should lose their jobs and never be allowed to work at any job that gets over minimum wage ever again as they have shown themselves to be too corrupt to be trusted.

As for Trump – he is a prime example of everything bad in the World. No wonder the west is so hated.

How come something like this was not on prime time BBC 1 ?
Possibly another sensitive issue for the BBC and powerful outside interests.
The action of the police has to be seriously questioned as it appears that there is collusion between Trumps private army and a supposedly unbiased police force.Unfortunately no one has pockets deep enough to actually expose the truth,Trump and his henchmen know this.
Salmond can put this “venture” into his trophy cabinet, but i hope it will seriously damage the SNP as he doesn’t seem fit to run a bath never mind a country.

It’s exactly dodgy dealings with Trump that put me right off the SNP and that **** Salmond will never get a vote from me.
I honestly can’t read or watch anything to do with Trump, I end up in an irrational rage. If he’s on the local news flying stupid big jet into Aberdeen I have to turn over. He’s just such a bullying **** 👿

Is there anyone who is local to this, ie lives in Aberdeen, who love to know what the locals actually though of him, the project and the people he was trying to clear from their homes.

He has the kind of face you just wouldn’t tire of punching.

Again I am soo embarressed by the police and their handling of it, actually makes me sad. I hope the officers involved hang their heads in shame.

I was genuinly shocked and also quite upset by it. Disgusted in the Scottish polical system that allowed this. It is a stain on Scotland.

We shouldn’t be surprised by Trump but I was appalled by the local officials and the obvious political policing. The scene where the water had been cut off for a week and the journalist was arrested for asking about it was what you expect to see in Zimbabwe, not Aberdeenshire.

The police should hang their heads in shame.
Salmond should hang his head in shame
My views on Trump are not fit for a public forum. Suffice to say I wouldn’t wee on him if someone set fire to his hair.

It’s a vanity project, nothing more nothing less. Frankly I’m now so in favour of the proposed wind turbines off the coast that will “spoil his views” that I’m prepared to donate my own cash to see that it happens. I don’t even care if they never produce and electricity either just so long as it annoys him!

    I’m in Aberdeen.

I would be delighted to take part in any rides or outings that take advantage of our lovely Scottish Outdoor Access Code that may cross ‘his’ land and annoy him.

To use an old STW favourite this properly boiled my wee wee, ok it was pretty one sided but then again the show was at pains to point out that the Trump organisation, the police and the scotch 😉 government all refused to be interviewed.

Maybe it was a bit of a one-off fu but why are the “socialist” SNP so supine in the face of capital? And although this happened within the union, it really doesn’t shed a particularly good light on Scottish politics in an independent Scotland.

Yeah pretty shocking, I knew it was controversial but some of the stuff like cutting off the guy’s water supply and the boundary disputes are outrageous. It’s a shame the national media likely won’t pick up on it and trigger heads rolling in the Scottish government, local council there and Grampian police.

Not seen the programme yet as I’m away from home so can’t comment on it. Apart from trying to stop acess while walking my dog , not had much dealings with Trump inter. I do fail to see why it’s local headline news everytime the he lands at Aberdeen airport declaring his love for his mothers homeland, scotchland.

Does come across as a bully to the local residents who don’t dance this tune. Will watch it when I get home next week.

A couple of things – golf courses come under land set aside for a particular use, so there are no access rights to them and Trump is spitting feathers because the SNP are allowing an offshore windfarm to be built near his golf course. The guy and his entire family are douche bags though, as are the police, politicians and whoever else was involved.

I totally agree with the comments above regarding the police, local council officials etc. The irish head green keeper guy was a total arse. The way in which the local residents were treated was a disgrace. Cant believe RGU handed that clown Trump an honorary degree….the former principal handing back his honorary degree was class.

As an avid golfer there is no way I would pay to play this course or even play it if offered a game for nothing.

You can also apply to be listed as a co-owner of land that belonged to Michael Forbes (the guy who lives in a ‘pigsty’.

Called The Bunker and managed by Tipping up Trump campaign, it is offering mass ownership to help fight Trump.

The website doesn’t offer a great deal of detail about it, worth looking at this report

I’ve recorded it and hope to watch it tonight. There appears to be 100% of posters against this venture, but surely the overiding issue was the huge investment in an area which is a employment wasteland? That is why is has gone ahead?

Jobs, tourism, etc. The Jocks need all they can get.

…but surely the overiding issue was the huge investment in an area which is a employment wasteland?

Aberdeen and by extension Aberdeenshire is many things, but an employment wasteland is not one of them. Besides just how many jobs do you think are created by a single golf course?

    FuzzyWuzzy

@rockape – sounded like most of the construction jobs went to Irish and Polish people (Trump contracted it to an Irish contractor). Not sure how many longterm jobs there will be there, presumably not a vast amount and probably mostly low paid.
I don’t specifically object to the golf course, although I still don’t understand how they’re allowed to trash an SSI to build it. I was more outraged at the treatment of the nearby residents + the attitude of the police.
I still don’t understand how cutting off someone’s water supply isn’t treated as an urgent priority by environmental health and how it can’t become a criminal matter. The boundary disputes are pretty shocking to, I guess I naively assumed the existing landholder would have more protection and the developer would have to prove in court if the boundary under dispute was in their favour but apparently not, you just move bulldozers in and remove existing fencing, the police even turn up to make sure the landowner doesn’t interfere.
