    Needing a new camera. Have found from experience that I only really need to point and shoot. Old one had plenty of bells and whistles which were never really used.

    Any recommendations on something which puts simplicity and quality optics before lots of buttons and gazillions of pixels.

    Budget £250 ish

    a panasonic TZ10 is around £210, has bells and whistles but also “intelligent auto” which pretty much makes all the descisions for you, has HD video too if you fancy it
