Advice, please. I’m working in Swansea tomorrow, and hoping to squeeze in a couple of very early morning rides on the way there and back from Yorkshire. I’m fit and experienced, and prefer just getting out and moving through nice places rather than anything too technical (Dalby Red suits me fine). This will be my first “proper” MTB this year. So…
Which route at Afan for a couple of hours pre-breakfast? White’s Level? (I’m staying in Glyncorrwg.)
Any Black Mountains routes likely to be dry enough for 3-4 hours Saturday AM?
    Thank you in advance.

You’d probably be better doing the Wall if you ask me, Whites has some proper muddy sections after the rains usually, Wall holds less water and has less of the clay type mud you find by the top of Whites.

    Wall is about 1hr 30-2hours.

Thanks, Weeksy. Despite the rain on Saturday AM, The Wall was just what I needed. Nice place and good people, I will be back.
