I went to Aston Hill for the first time yesterday. I had a great day – the setup there is excellent for what is a tiny piece of land.

However, first thing in the morning, with dew on the ground a mist in the air is not good for grip on chalk and boardwalk. I have 2 huuaaouge bruises on my arse/hips. You know the ones – where the bone itself seems to have hit the ground, liquifying all muscles and skin on the way through.

Its madly greasy at the first sight of rain. Makes the runs quite interesting though.
Seen some hideous gashes in thighs from the chalk/flint lying on the surface there.
