  • Are all Shimano brake levers compatable with all Shimano calipers?

    I’ve bought a second hand bike running XTR M960 combined brake lever/shifters.

    They’re okay, but I was thinking of switching to a 1×11 setup anyway.

    If I plug any old XT or XTR levers into the end of the brake lines; will the brakes work properly?
