Managed to get a babysitter for the night, only happens once or twice a year for us, sad but true!

I was thinking about Slumdog Millionaire, but do you have any “must watch”.

    Ta very much.

i enjoyed both “bolt” and “revolutionary road” – i would describe “bolt” as The-incredibles-lite and RR as american-beauty-lite , both solid 4-out-of-5 films.

I wish Wall-E was on in the cinema. Gutted I missed seeing that, on the big screen.

Man on Wire. Docudrama with real footage of the French tightrope walker who walked between the tops of the World Trade Centre towers.

Worth subscribing to lovefilm.com or similar

I liked Frost/Nixon and Milk. Hated Revolutionary Road – it was just a pretty standard depressing drama, except that the drama bit was completely predictable from the start, and the characters were pretty dull, so it was basically just 2 hours of depressingness with no suspense or character interest to make up for it, kind of like the film equivalent of Keane.

Another vote for Slumdog here. Defiance was quite entertaining too, if it’s still around.
