  • Anyone willing to recommend a ride in Yorkshire the wilder the better.
  • So I'm heading N to Yorkshire and was wondering if anyone could recommend a fairly big day out? 5-8hrs, plenty of climbing, with some excellent dh sections would obviously be on the wish list. Not worried about food stops just need some local knowledge.

    Any suggestions greatly received.

    The famous Nidderdale route?

May have to expand on that for me….

Check Muddybums out, they have some good routes in the Dales and on the Moors, you can always tag one ride onto another if you're after a full day job.

Looks interesting, do yo know what it's like when it's been raining a fair bit, boggy or does it drain well?

It tends to be boggier on the tops of the Moors, the Dales tend to drain a bit better, saying that it's raining up here now so you're gonna get blathered where ever you go, so I wouldn't worry!
