Anyone want to see the progression of a Giant Hogweed burn?

There was some growing near me (now cleared). What blew my mind was the size of the things- they were huuuuuuuge!!!!

You can get effed up by common hogweed too – got similar blisters all over my arms a couple of years back after using a strimmer – bandaged up for a few weeks but nowhere near as bad.

Took a look at one of your pics and christ almighty, that was enough for me. Maybe you were just unlucky. I’d a few burns off this stuff as a kid(foraging through the undergrowth) but you washed it with soap and cold water and they were fine.

I take it you did wash it initially 😕

I think they can grow up to 15′.
