Bit of a dredge up from the past but I’ve finally gotten around to fitting the big apples and vavert front rack.

Can’t quite bend the fitting enough to make it straight and keep it tight enough.

Fitted with some cheapo Agu platinum front panniers and for a total of £61.96 anf many thanks to Garry Lager from this parish for a Trailgator I’m ready for summer cycling fun with the whole family.

Probably my favourite summer boots. Wire 2.35 so heavy but once up to rolling speed feels unstoppable and smooth both on and offroad. I tend to run about 45psi so can get a bit bouncy over rocky combes and sun-baked ruts but I enjoy the drama more than I do a lower pressure 8)

Never had a puncture either.

*Edit I was running them (as pictured) on some fairly narrow XC rims which resulted in the tyres being somewhat ovalised/sub-optimal – but never had a problem with them rolling off the rim, or me wiping out. Famous last words….
