  • Anyone sold a watch through chrono24??

I’ve got a rather desirable posh watch to sell… Gonna traipse round some local indie jewellery shops, but wondering if anyone has experience of selling via Chrono24?
They seem to take £300 commission, and the money in escrow for a bit…

    Is it legit?

    Cheers!

Do you know a rough value of the watch? If it’s Rolex be wary as some models are worth far more than folk are offering, and they know it. My boss is heavily in to watches and his latest new Rolex was sold without papers and all protective stickers etc are removes in the shop, after a year you get the papers. All done to stop you selling on immediately.

    ^^ Similar situation to me…
I’m looking to release some equity from the watch.. It’s guaranteed etc etc, but like you say the original paper is with the jewelers…

Got copies and all receipts though…

How long have you had it? Surely the papers are yours to have now if over a year old.

    Watchfinder.co.uk
    Blowers jewellers
    Watches.co.uk

All of the above are likely to offer more than local jewellers likely less than you’ll realise via c24 but quicker / no escrow etc.

As the papers have been withheld I assume it’s a in demand sports model?

Yeah… 2018 GMT II ‘rootbeer’…steel and rose gold, not the full gold version (which is £30k retail…)

    Not had a year yet…
