Got it as a Christmas gift not read it yet but going away next week and was wondering if anyone has read it and was it worth reading. Other options on the shelf are chris Ryan killing for the company or the Shackleton voyages or various Calvin and Hobbs.

Just seen it and felt quick sick 😯

I’m not expert but that’ll be a serious recovery effort to get over that if its real, which I’m guessing it is.

Real selection or the few weekends here and there selection?
If the latter, I’ve already passed harder courses thanks. If the former, then I’ve already done the hills thanks.

Ps: having braved the Southern Ocean, to and from South Georgia, in a home made skip masquerading as a yacht, I would advise you take Shackleton to read and use Grylls for bog paper.

TBH although that pic is a bit gruesome & theres a lot of flesh missing, what is there looks pink & healthy.

Saw his live show about 18 months ago.

2 hours of his best mate blowing smoke up Bear’s behind. Ramming his Christian beliefs down the audiences’ neck. All me, me ,me, me.

    Conclusion: He’s a Tw@

He own’s the lease on st tudwals island in north wales.I was windsurfing in the bay in about 30knots of wind and a pretty large swell. He was trying to launch a 6ft inflatable dinghy with a 2hp outboard.Being on the lifeboat crew I ventured over to see what was going on.He replied he was going to ‘his’ island (about 1 1/2 miles offshore)so I informed him that I’d be calling the police if he tried, cue ‘don’t you know who I effing am rant’.

what type of snake would do that? I’m thinking like a fer de lance type? doesn’t the venom from that have severe effacts on the actual cells of your body? (apologies if that’s bollox)

Had a friend get bitten on the ankle by a Western Rattlesnake a few years ago and it resulted in some massive tissue loss, skin grafts, etc. Not quite as ugly as that looked (exposed bone and all), but he ended up with a permanent ‘hole’ in the side of his ankle about the size of golf ball.

Bear Grills and Andy Mcnob have both been on the same SAS book writing course (tougher than the hills course), so I’d stick with Calvin & Hobbs (they don’t stay in hotels whilst pretending to camp out)…..
