been looking at a few options for carbon wheels, and came across acebike. Their prices seem good, and they have a European site, which has prepaid delivery and customs charges in the price. They do have more build options on the international site though. Just wondered if anyone has used them? Service and quality of the wheels?

I cant say about acebike – thats a german subsidiary, but the company that makes the rims does a decent job. You’ll see plenty rebadged as other things in the UK.

By ace, do you mean Asian Carbon Express? If so, I ordered some rims from them about three years ago, and had them built at my lbs. They went together ok apparently, good build quality, and my fat arse has be en giving them a kicking ever since with no problems.

As always with Chinese stuff,don’t expect next day delivery 😀 but they did put the value down as sod all, so I could dodge the tax😀
