Yeah – it was a bit of an odd situation – as far as I could tell I wasn’t paying VAT on the R2 stuff which is what made it relatively cheap.

I did think that the overseas sellers were supposed to register for VAT and pay it under EUR160-ish? Presumably that has either come into force now, or is being more stringently enforced, and R2 etc can’t be arsed to register, so now just sell >EUR160 baskets and leave it to customs to sort out.

I guess the VAT party had to come to an end, but definite pain in the ass that it’s resulted in almost all sellers dropping out of the <160 market. R2 etc often had stock or stuff that you just couldn’t get here.
