    Can anyone identify this rather large beastie? Freed from kitchen window yesterday, can’t recall seeing anything like it before.

    Just had a quick flick through MrsP’s ‘British Insects’ ID book and it looks like Rhagium mordax. Definitely NOT a baby robin.
