Had a creaky BB which was getting worse so took the chainset off and found this. Now rather depressed that my pride & joy is possible scrap metal.

Has anybody had a fix for something similar? If so, where did you get it done and how much?

I twatted the drop-out on mine, it went back to Lynskey and they fitted a new rear chain/seat stay triangle, eventually. £100.

this is very very relevant to me just now as i just discovered a nice crack in my Ti frame literally 2 hours ago after getting back from Glentress. The word is Enigma are good at repairing frames and that Vernon Barker is pants. Is it still under warranty at all?

No warranty, its 7 years old. Not a Lynskey one either.

As long as you know VB is pants I can now leave this thread alone, sorry no recommendations though, it was my one & only experience with Ti welders/repairers 🙁
