  • Anyone ride a Yeti ASR-7?

    Wheelies are struggling to get me a yeti 575 at present.. As I'm planning on quite a heavy build (Fox 36s, etc) for my new dandyhorse, I'm considering going up to the ASR-7 instead. Just wondering if anyone's got one and what you think of it?

    Friend of mine has one and he seems to like it. Prefers it to the 575 he had previously as far as I can tell. Did Kirroughtree and Glentress on it as well as an uplift day at Innerleithen. I only had a quick blast on it, but it felt great. Big hefty bike though.

    Cheers Nonsense. How does it climb for such a big bike?

    finally – what forks does your friend run on his? Just wondering whether 160mm will be too short?

    Was fine on the black at Kirroughtree. He runs Fox 36's which are what Yeti recommend I think.
