  • Anyone got a Tracer "1" ?

    I’m thinking of buying a used tracer frame but it’s not the tracer 2 version. I’m tempted by it as it seems closer to the old 5.5 Intense did.

    Has anyone got one? What’s it like?

    They are great, I have one, but I don’t ride it much at the moment so I am thinking of selling it – medium in raw if you are interested? Email in profile.

    I would be careful about buying an early Tracer VP as the rear triangles had a habit of cracking. Very nice frame apart from that though.

    Yup, MK1’s tended to crack. Intense beefed up the swingarm.

    Thanks for the warning about cracking. Particularly pertinent here as I am a rather *ahem* “well built” individual.
