One of our cats has had vomiting and diarrhoea for months. We tried her on nothing but white fish for a week or two and it has just got worse so she’s now on Purina HA. Blood and stool tests all clear so no suspicion of hyperthyroidism just yet.

Current thinking is either stress or IBD. She’s been on the hypoallergenic food for a week but still has V&D. Does it take a while to be effective?

Has anyone else got any experience of this? It’s bad enough cleaning up poo and puke several times a day, every day, but the poor little thing must be feeling awful and I feel helpless.
