    As title says do you need to drop pressure from seat post for flying.Website has no info AFAICS

    No. Atmospheric pressure is 14 psi, so even if you go in to space, the increased pressure differential is small compared to what’s inside your post.

    No. Planes are pressurised to around 2000m equivalent. So unless you believe the post will explode half way up an alp, you have nothing to worry about.

    ^yes have you never seen the crew going down with a foot pump at 1000m, frantically inflating them for landing. The real reason for go arounds 😛

    some cheapo airlines keep people in the wheel wells to help with this
