Getting one through the wife’s work cyclescheme. Don’t want a Brompton, fancy something a little sportier with 20″ wheels.

I got an email the other day from go outdoors with some folding bike offers, I deleted it though but I think it was a 20″ for £100.
    Cheers.

Is the cyclescheme the ‘Cycle To Work’ scheme, if so you probably shouldn’t be asking questions like this on the interwebs!

Anyway, why do you want a folder – if it’s to take on a train, you really should reconsider a Brompton as nothing beats it for the fold and it’s folded compactness

    1. Fraud.

    2. You’ll struggle to get a discounted bike on cyclescheme – they take a 10% cut.

    3. You’re already getting it cheap, give up tight-fistedness for a few seconds and do it properly. Brompton.

    Giant Halfway for 20″ differentness.
    Airnimal for 24″ speediness.
    Brompton for 16″ foldiness.
    Mezzo for 16″ differentness.
    Jango for 16″ bargainess.
    Birdy for 18″ foldiness.

Never really been a fan od Dahon/Tern bikes.

    Didn’t say ‘I’ was getting one… 😉

Gonna be doing some miles on it so didn’t really fancy a Brompton. Wanted something like a Dahon Mu SL though tjey aren’t made anymore. Light and racy.

Wife’s last bike on the scheme was heavily discounted.
