When i were a lad i spent a lot of time drawing/painting and was considered not too shabby at it, then i discovered Beer and girls.
I got myself a job in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham so that was an outlet for my creativity for 25 years.
I’m now getting fired up about drawing/painting again after a break of 35ish years, crikey where did they go? 😕
If any of you lot are budding artists please share your creations.

    I shall answer the call!

I mostly work in Photoshop nowadays, using an Ituos graphics tablet. Would love a Cintiq, can’t justify the cost as a hobbyist though. And just in case people don’t think I’m weird enough, I mostly draw my dog. He’s like a furry muse (not the band…)

And from my earlier, non-dog, traditional media era:

…I’d post up some of my life drawings, but I’m not sure where the mods stand on nudes. If you’re interested, they’re here. (Warning: Contains naked ladies).

Probably anywhere except the delicate groin area.

A couple of my pencil drawings (that I’ve shown on here before) from over 20 years ago. Don’t do anything now with a busy life

    here are two of mine.

The top one is quite small, and the bottom is life size.

It’s nice to see other peoples pictures too.

Thank you all for posting some inspirational pictures, hope to be putting pencil/brush to paper this weekend as someone has kindly donated some art materials.

I’m still keen to see more if others would like to share.

Damn, McMoonter is good. Loving some of those paintings.

I’ve just added you to my watchlist on deviantart MrsToast, you’re the only person I sort of know on there.

MrsT has a thing about Hares. Anyone know where I can find a print? Had a google but can’t find a good one.

Hares. Not all of these can be generated into a print but almost all can be downloaded. Some will have the generate a print option, which will cost money obviously.

There is some great work on here I really love Mrs Toasts dog pictures they are different and I also love the life drawings too. I also love Samuri’s pictures such a high standard and i took a look at your flikr and love the bike pictures.
I’ve been drawing pet portraits for a couple of years now and now get requested to draw pets for people by word of mouth. I’ve done a couple of exhibitions and have managed to sell some work that way. I’m now working on more drawings and paintings and want to add colour to my work too.
I study websites such as wet canvas and get inspired by the high standard of work on there. There is a lot of talent in this forum and here are some of my drawings. Hope you like them

I always really loved life drawing.
For some (daft) reason we didn’t do it at all on my degree course.
    I miss it.

I’ll have to look into local courses.

I am very jealous of other people’s ability.

    That is all.
