As per the EU referendum thread, we aren’t completely unwilling passengers on the £250m Brexit bus heading over a cliff, we do wield power in that we can use our votes, or petition our representative in parliament to speak on our behalf.
One of the first things I did in the wake of the Referendum was to make a contribution to Gina Miller’s Best for Britain movement. When it came to the GE, I researched all the candidates for their views on leaving the EU and I voted accordingly.
We all have a duty to petition our MPs, if enough of us respond via They Work For You, then it will be easy to track which MPs respond to their constituents in a timely fashion. In short, don’t let the bastards get away with anything without demanding openness, transparency and public scrutiny.
