Anyone know if there’s an Android app/widget that allows me to select certain friends/contacts and only see their facebook/twitter updates in the list?

Was using Tweetdeck for Twitter, but once you follow a few people everything seems to become a blur.

On my HTC Hero, you can link people’s contacts entry to their FB or twitter feed, so when you look at their entry you can see what they’ve been uploading. Any use?

Create a group of contacts and use one of the screens on the phone to list them. If they are linked to the apps then the updates should show.

Thanks for the suggestions, have downloaded the official twitter app for android and have linked as Dave and Dick mentioned.

Would prefer a more customisable app/widget – maybe one that lets you create a homepage screen of 5 or 6 friends which gives you their last 3 or so twitter and/or facebook updates.

Maybe an app developer will agree and make a bit of money on it? 😉
